Mohammed Dele Belgore is legal practitioner since 1985; Senior Advocate of Nigeria (Nigeria’s equivalent of a Q.C.) since 2001. Founding member and partner of Sofunde, Osakwe, Ogundipe & Belgore (Legal Practitioners), a Lagos based full service commercial law firm 1989 – to date. Notary Public,1997.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) in March 1997; Chartered Arbitrator of the same Institute in 2004 and an approved tutor of that Institute who lectures widely on arbitration in Nigeria and abroad Mohammed Dele Belgore is 3rd Vice- Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria Branch) and Chairman of its sub-committee on Training & Development 2002 – 2006; member of the Executive Council of the Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria (MAAN) 2006; member of the panel of arbitrators of MAAN; member of the panel of arbitrators of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC); an accredited mediator of CEDR (Centre for Dispute Resolution) member of the Executive Council of ICC Nigeria
